Dale first started work at Gandy and Roberts in 2015, completing work experience as part of his Civil Engineering Degree at UTAS. He stayed on as a Cadet Engineer and eventually became a Company Associate Director in 2022.
Prior to his time at UTAS, Dale worked as a Plumbing Practitioner on a range of commercial and residential projects, coordinating a team of tradespeople. This trade background has provided a unique, hands-on skill set that allows Dale to quickly identify potential site servicing constraints. These skills are valued by clients, allowing them to make important design decisions early in design.
Dale manages the Civil/Hydraulic Engineering team, providing mentoring and design input to a wide range of projects. He has a focus on delivering practical designs, that can be constructed with ease. A personal commitment to integrity sees Dale dedicated to delivering all projects through to the end of construction.
Recent feature projects include the UTAS Northern Transformation ($200M), Whale Point Salmon Growing Facility ($60M), the TasTAFE state of the art Water and Energy Trades Development ($27M), whilst maintaining ongoing contracts within the public and private education sectors.
