Project Brief

This project was a major extension to Austins Ferry Primary School to accommodate future growth and to enhance learning experiences. Structural, civil and hydraulic engineering services provided to the design team.

Key Challenges

Working to a budget whilst incorporating creative design to enhance learning areas and experiences for seven new classrooms.  Embracing natural light and views to the recreational spaces, surrounding bush and natural contours of the site.

Result

A striking modern design, where the variety of materials including timber gives a warm and welcoming appeal.  Playful design elements spark intrigue for students in a creative learning space.
