Situated between the Brooker Highway and the banks of the Derwent River, Hobart’s Derwent Entertainment Centre has undergone a series of earnest redevelopments to ready the venue for the 2021/2022 NBL season, hosted by the Tasmanian JackJumpers. The Derwent Entertainment Centre, commercially known as the My State Bank Arena, is Tasmania’s largest indoor multipurpose arena and Hobart’s primary venue for state-of-the-art sporting, recreation and art events. The redevelopment will result in a four-court multisport and community facility, simultaneously establishing a sound foundation for economic growth through the promotion of jobs and tourism.
